MSFT wrist watch, when will we see you again?

The mentioned article from Chris, mentioned that MetaWatch’s Bill Geiser believes wrist watch is the next big thing in consumer tech. If MSFT failed to launch a watch before Apple and scramble after it when the watch brings Apple stock's to a new height, will the world claim MSFT is following Apple again?

If MSFT launches a wrist watch again, I hope they will try using e-ink for that small screen device. It will help in battery life and since that screen size might not be good for video, using e-ink might have little disadvantage.
