Hi, this is my first post here. I'm sure there have been plenty of Nexus 4 posts around here especially since it is such a great device! Since November when it was released, I had never seen it in person. Just read about it on the internet and seen how 'smooth' and 'perfect' it was through videos. I guess you could say I was 'wowed' by the device but I just found it very interesting. I've been using an LG Spectrum (Yes, I know...big mistake) for a while now and even though ROMs help a lot with the overall smoothness with a phone, there was a lot to be desired in terms of speed and smoothness especially when compared to my Nexus 7. A few days ago, I heard there were Nexus 4s being displayed at T-Mobile stores and I put that on my to-do list. After I got out of school today, I went straight to a T-Mobile store with extremely high expectations for this phone due to the compliments that everyone gives it...and boy, was I satisfied. I never knew how smooth and buttery Android could be and just using it for 5 minutes made me want to get one even more. The glittery back never really appealed to me prior to my 'play session' in store today but I fell in love with how sophisticated and elegant it appeared with the back. All this made me wonder: what's in store for Android next? Will we be blown away with the next Nexus phone like most of us were with the Nexus 4? What can we expect in terms of speed, stability and most importantly: battery life? I think Android is a time where it is fast and smooth enough to be a respectable OS especially to the iOS fanboys and the next problem that should be tackled is battery life. I've heard mixed thoughts about the Nexus 4's battery life and I'm sure people wouldn't mind having their battery last a little longer even at the expense of a slightly thicker phone. But the OS can be improved in terms of power consumption and the days when I can get more than 5 hours of screen on time without a 3000+ mAh battery seem very nice to think about. What are your thoughts?
