One thing that sucks about OS X
Ever since I switched to Mac, I felt something wasn't right: parts of the UI are just too small to be pressed. Let me show you some examples.
Pages is one of the first few programs I used that I still can't enjoy using, because the toolbar and the inspector window icons are so small it's hard to use, and the tabs in inspector are not very intuitive. (Compare the size of the text in the menubar compared to Pages' toolbar)

Also, the edit window in Calendar is very small (not to mention the date picker).

I very much prefer the improved window in Reminders.app because while the text size is roughly the same, the words are better-spaced and the buttons are bigger so they are easier to press. (I'm the kind of person who'd rather press the buttons than pressing a key).
This is probably because Reminders was built with design inspirations from iOS .

So my point is that Apple needs to fix these because not everyone has a big screen computer. I'm using a 13" MBA which has smaller UI elements than the 13" MBP but this is not a reason for Apple keeping the UI size unchanged.
So, do you guys experience this issue as well? And if anyone has workarounds to these problems, please let me know.
