Almost the perfect e-reader. If you want to read books, this device is for you. The screen is great - I can almost never see the pixels - and can be read in sunlight. The store is amazing. And the battery life is shockingly good. But there are some negatives - I'd like a higher resolution screen, a cheaper 3G option and a better web browser. Since this device is no longer on sale, I'd recommend a 2012 basic Kindle or Paperwhite, but this is still good.
