Why do people complain about large tablets when people carry paper notebooks, magazines every single day for work, school, college, leisure etc.

Take a 1 subject spiral notebook you have millions of children carrying those around everyday; but people complain about carry large tablets such as the regular iPad, Surface, Galaxy Tab etc.
