Fourth-gen iPad Screen Ghosting

Hi guys! Long time reader, first time poster...

Anyway, I got a Retina iPad (4th-gen) last week, and have been through several replacements already because of out-of-box scratches, a loose trim piece around the screen, etc... Now, the iPad that I have has a severe screen-ghosting problem. As you can see in the pictures, if something stays on the screen for a few minutes, it will temporarily 'burn in'.

So, I'm going to return it, but I'm wondering what the chance of another one like this is? ...It's a bit of a drive for me to the nearest Apple store. Have you guys seen any problems like this? I'd love to know.
