Notetaking on Surface RT - No money for Pro

Hey everyone, for a little background, I am currently a university student majoring in Applied Mathematics. I have been doing plenty of proofs regarding group theory and advanced calculus this past two quarters and as you might imagine, I take a lot of notes as well as use tons of scratch paper. And as another note, I preordered the Surface RT and have been using it since launch day. I love it and the sluggishness doesn’t bother me as much anymore, but one thing I am missing is notetaking. I am lucky enough to live near a Microsoft store and I have had some hands on time with the Surface Pro and I was blown away with the usability of the pen on the OneNote desktop app and I was wondering if something comes close to that on the Surface RT. I would love to be able to take notes on my Surface RT because it would save me the trouble of having to buy paper and notebooks and having to store them after the quarter is done. Now I know the Surface Pro is a more ideal solution to my notetaking problem, but I simply do not have enough money to buy another device. So if any college students (or anyone who uses a stylus for notetaking) in the tribe have found a solution to this, it would be greatly appreciated. Please post your recommendations and inputs in the comments below. I have heard a lot of good things about the Adonit Jot stylus so any input on that would be great. I also heard the GoSmart styli are also very good since the tips aren’t as fragile as the Adonit Jot’s. Thanks.
