Nokia launches Music+ subscription service in US
A week after bringing premium streaming service Music+ to the UK, Nokia has now done the same in the US. The $3.99/month upgrade to Music Mix Radio allows users standard subscription-music options like unlimited offline playback and more control over what they listen to, as well as higher stream quality, lyrics, and a desktop web app for non-mobile listening. It's still fundamentally a radio service, not a music library like Spotify, but it's also significantly cheaper. Nokia first announced Music+ in late January, and it hasn't been long bringing it to the US; free predecessor Mix Radio was revealed alongside the Lumia 800 in late 2011.
Nokia Music + now available in the US. Go to Nokia Music > Settings > Upgrade to get started.
