3 Books I have recently finished...
I recently finished reading/listening 3 books. Tears in Rain by Rosa Montero, The Frozen Sky by Jeff Carlson and To build a mind by Ray Kurzweil.
I recommend the first two for any sci-fi fans out there. Great story, solid plot and easy to follow. Both authors have a comfortable attention to detail without going overboard. The characters were believable and easy to follow and keep separate.

On the last book, How to create a mind, I both read and listened to the book via the audible/kindle combo. Being a hobby programmer i have had a fascination with machine learning for some time. Ray does a great job of breaking down the fundamentals of how and why we learn and recall. This is definitely a niche read and if you are not curious or interested in this it will be a boring read. If you enjoyed any of Ray's other books, you will devour this one.
