The key to Merging Android & Chrome OS might be PNaCl

I found this quote while ago...

"We want to move more and more of Chrome to Native Client," Linus Upson, vice president of engineering for the Chrome team, said in an interview at the Google I/O 2011 "Over time we want to move the entire browser in Native Client."

What if it’s not just the browser? WHAT IF IT IS EVERYTHING?

What if they either merge Dalvik into PNaCl (Portable Native Client) or replace it entirely with PNaCl? Android apps could run in Chrome on Windows, Mac and Linux as well as windows applications and console games could be ported to PNaCi and run on any platform where PNaCl is present. i.e. Android, Mac and Linux.

Android, Chrome and Google TV could be underpinned by PNaCl and it would provide a common development platform for all Google properties.

I also think that that Google needs a way to compete against Xbox 720 & PS4.

"By next year, we will not be here talking about Google+ Games, Chrome Web Store games, Games for Native Client and Android games," he said. "We will be talking about Google games" said Punit Soni.

It talking them a long time to do this, so I would imagine this is more than a just a unified Web site.

I'm sure most of Google Games will run on any device that’s powerful enough but imagine Google TV running on x86 hardware that uses PNaCl, Xbox 720, PS4 and other console games could be ported. Ubisoft's From Dust has already been port to Native client,

Obviously, this is all wild speculation of course but the more I think about the more it make’s me at least. Perhaps it’s just wishful thinking, what do you guy’s think?
