Chromebook Pixel with Ubuntu or Android

The Pixel is a gorgeous device, I'm sure no one can deny that. Chrome OS, not gorgeous, well, not for the huge price tag anyway. When a MacBook is cheaper than a Chromebook, there's definitely a problem. However, how about if the Pixel was running Ubuntu (which I'm hoping is capable of running on it) or even Android ?

From a Google point of view, Android is the better option. I mean, it's got a touchscreen, that's one obsticle overcome. Personally I'd prefer Ubuntu, but I'd consider it with Android at least.

What do you think ?
