The Verge Android App Data Usage

So, this morning I got a notice from AT&T saying that I had reached 65% of my data plan. About 3 hours later, I get another message stating that I had used 90%. My first thought was to look into the detailed data usage on AT&T's site to see what their logs were saying. Then I looked at the Data Usage in the Settings on Android. Turns out The Verge app flipped out and used a TON of my data plan. A TON... and in just a matter of hours.
