So I snotted on my trackpad...
I've been sick the past couple days with an endless runny nose, and a drop of snot got onto my 2010 macbook pro's trackpad. I promptly cleaned it, but my mouse started spazing in every direction, clicking on links I didn't want, changing workspaces, and zooming in and out.
It's been 24 hours and even with further cleaning it's still spazing. Disabling tap-to-click and all the swipe shortcuts has rendered the mouse fairly harmless. And with the help of the vimium chrome plugin I can at least browse the web. But I really would like use of my trackpad again.
Does anyone have experience with thoroughly cleaning macbook pro trackpads? Or what it takes to replace them?ff
