Dpi scaling for small high res devices.

I'm soon to receive a surface pro in the post. Id like to use it as my only pc, docked with a USB 3 docking station. Does anyone know a fast utility to quickly adjust screen dpi without having to relog each time? even better is there a way to get my dpi scaling to customize itself to reflect which display(s) are active?
