Rovio today announced that it's bringing an Angry Birds cartoon series to the web starting March 16th. Angry Birds Toons, as the show will be called, is the latest use of an enormously popular franchise that has expanded well beyond its humble beginnings as an iOS game. Rovio says the web-only series will answer some of your burning questions like "what makes Bomb Bird so angry" and "why is the King Pig the King Pig?" A new episode will be made available every week, according to the company, though it doesn't specify how long Angry Birds Toon will ultimately last. If it resembles the pattern established by Angry Birds mobile games, well, there could be no end in sight.
