Looking for a Onenote replacement

Hi everyone. I need a decent notetaking app for both my Nexus 4 and my desktop. I've always used OneNote in the past, which has been great for syncing stuff but the android app is really not very nice, and as gDocs is missing a notetaking replacement, I wondered what you guys used or recommended? Evernote seems to be a reasonable option at the moment, given that it has web/mobile/desktop access Thanks in advance :) Edit: I also use a windows 8 tablet, so any service with a W8 app would be a bonus. Not imperative, though
