How do you wake up in the morning?
I'm absolutely, utterly incapable of waking up on time in the morning, or at least trusting that I can do so. It's made me miss meetings, flights, classes, tests, interviews — you name a critically important thing you shouldn't sleep through, and I've slept through it. I snooze my alarm without even waking up, even if my alarm is across the room. Or I turn it off in my sleep (a remarkable feat, given that there's a password on my phone), and sleep like 19 hours too long.
So I need your help. How do you get up in the morning? Do you have a particular app that you like? Gadget? Sound? Routine? Superstitious trick? Weird habit that helps you wake up? Do you set forty alarms, including one that lights your arm on fire until you wake up? I'll try anything, but I don't know where to start. How do you do it?
