Surface RT - small but annoying onscreen keyboard issue

Overall I think the Surface RT is great, and the onscreen keyboard seems almost perfect and very fast. But there is one tiny issue that is really annoying. I found this bug after months of wondering why I seem to enter wrong passwords 50% of the times I try. The bug: when you touch and hold the "&123" key and release it immediately after you finished typing your numbers or symbols, the last number/symbol you typed will appear twice. That means that, if you try to enter "1234password", and don't wait for a few tenths of a second before releasing the switch key, your password will be entered as "12344password". The same thing just happened to me with the quotation mark in the previous sentence of this post - instead of " it became "". My Questions: Do you guys experience the same problem? And what about Windows 8 users?
