Turn your Vines into animated GIFs using VineGifR
Shortly after Twitter launched its new — and controversial — Vine service, Twitter software engineer and resourceful Github member Esten H. created a way to turn Vines into the animated GIFs we all know and love. The program, aptly named VineGifR, can successfully transform Vine's MP4 videos into soundless GIFs, but the result is fairly choppy — likely because of the number of frames dropped during the conversion. From what we've seen, it works best for static shots rather than videos with lots of movement, like the one we've embedded below. The app is available for Mac, and can be downloaded for free from Github.
