Ubuntu and Laptops: What's the Right Combination
I think one of the biggest things that's holding me back from having a dedicated Ubutnu laptop is that I can't seem to find a good candidate that is a combination of great hardware performance, great industrial design and installs cleanly w/o too many post-installs. Doesn't need to be a gaming laptop. Something mid-range. Equal to a 13" MBP.
I got a sandy bridge t-series in 2011 and was pretty disappointed with the results. Now I have a MacBook Pro and oy, not a great experience with Ubuntu.
What hardware are you using? I'd love some real user feedback.
