Galaxy 10.1 note good for college?

While sitting in class I see glowing face after glowing face and it is a mix of apple and samsung tablets. Iv leaned more towards the Apple side but one android device has caught my attention. The Galaxy 10.1 note, simply due to the fact that I can look at the text book on one screen and open another to take notes. I just want some feed back from the people who own it and what they like and don't like about the Galaxy note 10.1.
