Chromebook Pixel as my next Linux laptop?

I grew up on Linux and used it pretty exclusively until I was 19 and switch to a Mac. I've been on the Mac for a few years now and while little things get on my nerves, I spend my most of my day cmd-tabbing between a terminal window and Chrome so I don't have a serious reason to switch back to Linux.

The Chromebook Pixel looks pretty nice though, and it looks like it's quite Linux friendly.

What do you guys think? The biggest problem I see is the hard-set 4 gigs of RAM, I'd really like at least 16 if I plan to hold onto this things for a long period of time.
