Nexus 7 on 4.1 still, upgrade to 4.2.2?

Hello vergians:

I have my nexus 7 unrooted and with no roms, which for me has been working without any major hitches while still on 4.1. I was hesitant to make the jump to 4.2 when it first was pushed out due to all of the initial complaints (battery life, less stable than 4.1, bolding of the hour on the clock, etc).

I recently played with a friend's nexus 7 which had 4.2 on it (he was unaware of what version it was running) and I didn't mind the visual changes on the clock. So, knowing that, is there anything else to gain by upgrading to the latest version of JB? I guess I'm looking for a change as I've had the nexus now since October, and the system notification telling me that a new version is available is starting to get tiresome. Your thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated, thanks.
