Google Reader is dead. Is Google Docs next?
I thought the inclusion of Quickoffice (which was bought by Google last year) was a little strange on the Chromebook Pixel. The renaming of Google Docs to "Google Drive" was odd, too. (Who's going to figure out that a service called "Drive" has a productivity suite?) I used Google Reader on and off over the years, but I finally gave it up last year for good because I found RSS to be an inelegant solution and I sensed it was a dying technology. I also used Google Docs for about a year, but switched back to native software. Now, I get that same sense that Google Docs is about to get axed. I just don't see any indication that it's as successful as Google was hoping it would be.
Does anyone see any reason Google needs to keep Google Docs?
