Minimalist Writing App for Google Drive

Is there a minimalist text editor, like Byword or iaWriter that is compatible with Google Drive?

By compatible I mean capable of viewing in a browser as well as in the app. If not is there a workaround that anyone is aware which means you limits the frustrations of using these services together?

I'm using a Mac, but wouldn't mind if it was an in-browser solution.
