The release of the Steve Jobs biopic Jobs has been delayed, and there's no word yet on when the film will hit theaters. The movie's distributor Open Road felt that it was unable to create enough "buzz" for the film before its release, Deadline reports. While it's not uncommon for a film to have its release date shifted to avoid major competition, the distributing company usually sets a new release date at that time. Jobs debuted to mixed reviews at Sundance this past January and was set for a wide release on April 19th, around the time of Apple's 37th anniversary. There's no word on when marketing for the film will continue, but our bet is that Open Road won't want to see it anywhere near Aaron Sorkin's take on Jobs.
