Does Samsung astroturf?
I have to preface this post, I have an S3, and a Note I, they're pretty good, and IMHO, Samsung is in fact innovative, and they've explored form factor sentiment much more effectively than Apple, I like bigger devices, and the hardware in Samsung devices is pretty decent, and unlike Apple, they've proven they're not afraid to rapidly implement new ideas in software as well.
BUT
Stuff like this gives me pause:
Samsung spokesperson caught in planned Apple bashing
I think it's a toss up if the actor was instructed to post on behalf of Samsung or China Mobile in order to leverage a better deal with Apple for the iPhone on it's network.
Do you-all think Samsung astroturfs it's products?

Wow, Apple has so many tricks in its after-sales services. As an Apple fan, I’m hurt. You think this would be acceptable to Steve Jobs? Or to those young people who sold their kidneys [to buy iPads]? It’s really true that big chains treat customers poorly. Post around 8:20.
