Why isn't Google Now my lockscreen?
I feel like Google is missing a great opportunity here. Lockscreen widgets that you swipe left and right to get to are a great thing and should stay a feature, but I feel like Google Now could be a better central hub of information on your phone if it was the first thing you could see when you unlock it. It's strength is it's ability to almost triage your information into a central hub.
It's better than having, say, the calendar widget a swipe away because I don't always want to see the calendar widget, for example, unless I have an appointment coming up. Or a sports score widget. Or a package tracking number. Or any number of widgets that display information that I don't want to always see.
Thoughts on this? Just kind of ranting and raving here.
