HTC 8X questions

I will probably be getting a HTC 8X tomorrow but I do have some burning questions/concerns.

How long does the battery last with normal usage? I need my next phone to last from 7am till late at night with normal usage.

I have heard complaints about the corners going black or scratching off after a few weeks. Is this most users or just a select few?

Is 16GB big enough for you? I don't know how much it hold with a lot of apps and around 200 songs, especially with the 'other' file.

Last question, I can't decide between the blue or black. Which one do you think is the best colour?
