Has Android become too good for custom ROMs?
I just received my Nexus 7 and the out-of-the-box experience is unreal for me. Everything launches quickly, apps run smoothly, and the drawer shows only the slightest sign of lag.
Do you think that Android has reached a point where custom ROMs to speed up the OS and improve battery life are unnecessary? Or do some of you still use ROMs on your Nexus 7's, Nexus 10's, or Nexus 4's?
