Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past is still a ways off, but X-Men fans will still have something to look forward to this summer. James Mangold's The Wolverine is set to debut on July 26th, and the film's first full trailer has now been released. This comes a few days after a six-second teaser was released over Vine, but the new trailer gives a clearer look at the conflict that appear to drive the movie — in an effort to ratchet up the stakes for a character who is essentially invincible, it seems like Logan will lose his healing ability for large portions of the film. Aside from that detail, it's hard to tell exactly what Hugh Jackman will be doing in this film — but rest assured, there will be plenty of claw-on-sword battles. While we're not entirely convinced that The Wolverine will continue the revitalization of the X-Men franchise that started with X-Men: First Class, we'll wait until the film is out to pass judgement. Despite directing Knight and Day, Mangold otherwise has a pretty great pedigree, with 3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line, and Girl, Interrupted all on his resume.
