Disappointed in the tech press' reaction to the T-Mobile Uncarrier plans

I am disappointed by the lack of understanding displayed by several members of the tech press (who are supposed to be smart and knowledgable about the industry) when it comes to the new T-Mobile plans. Just do a google search and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I am tired of listening to podcasts and reading articles from bloggers whining about how much they hate the carrier controlled smartphone market that exists now. Now that we finally have a carrier that is embracing a more European model, I expected T-Mobile to get a lot of positive press. But instead, we get bloggers complaining that they have to pay full price for the phone. (What were they expecting? Free phone give aways?)

If you still don't understand why T-Mobile plans are good for you, read Android police's article.
