App or Script for Displaying Current Track in Menu Bar?
I've been using an App called iTunesMenu, since Leopard. All it does is display the currently playing iTunes track in the MenuBar, and give you a few playback options through a drop-down menu. Since updating to iTunes 11 on OSX 10.8, it's been painfully sluggish. Does anyone have an alternative? I've had a hard time finding a satisfactory one. I only care about it displaying the current track. I don't need any playback controls (I mean they're right on my keyboard!). The app hasn't been updated since 2009, so I don't expect an update to address my current issues. Could this possible be achieved with a script? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
