Everything in the world runs Linux: Besides the desktop
Linux is extremely successful. It's fast, portable, and secure. It runs traffic light systems, subway systems, nuclear submarines/ embedded vehicle systems, TVs, servers, mobile devices and just about everything else. But their's one last thing Linux needs to win: The desktop. Now, I know Linux is on the desktop, but the market share is extremely small and hardly anyone makes applications for the distros. But do you think any one company can finally give linux the push it needs to run the desktop, or is it not possible because of the Microsoft hegemony?
