Just finished Bioshock Infinite - My head hurts
Suffice it to say there were a LOT of gaps in understanding after it ended, I quickly went online to see explanations, and it's mostly squared now, but it took a bit of time for all the pieces to "click" even after seeing the explanations (though there still seem to be some issues with causality and paradoxes but whatever). That's all I will say since I don't want to spoil anything.
Also, I heard Josh mention on the podcast the themes of bioshock being Soooooooooooo American with the heightened exceptionalism, but you know what? Some of it was pretty damn stunning and beautiful. For all the religiosity and dogma and self importance and racism of the society, it is interesting that there were still things of beauty created, it was not all tar and ash.
