Will Leap Motion and Kinect for Metro give much needed boost to Windows 8 with gesture recognition

Today Tom Warren reported that Kinect Hand click, pinch to zoom and other gestures are coming to Windows 8 in Kinect SDK.

Also Leap Motion is releasing in May and Leap has promised it will have a gesture based touch emulation out of the box for windows 8.

So wondering if this the boost really needed to push Metro UI of Windows 8?? Because i would really love to interact with my PC the way Tom Cruise interacts in Minority Report and i am sure a lot of people will want that. I have used Windows 8 on my plasma tv and i cannot wait for Leap and Kinect for Metro to come out !!!
