Up is down, black is white, and Dvorak is praising Apple (Maps that is)
Praising Apple Maps at least. Some choice quotes to pique your interest:
Unbeknownst to everyone else, lest they race around like madmen, this was a battle of the [navigation] systems.
Glenn, who actually inspired my idea for the test, was using Apple Maps, ... In fact, it worked better than Google
I gave the nod to Apple and now wonder what the fuss was about. I have loved Google Maps until recently.
Make sure you read all the way end. It's actually quite a good article from Dvorak. Like discussions prior on this topic, the performance of a particular navigation, maps system really is variable. You really can't state what's better based on anecdotal evidence, as it only applies to your situation, if there was a way to aggregate everyone's experience, then maybe a conclusion can be reached.
