So why are Google and Apple lagging behind in ......
The music streaming business?
Apple revolutionized the music industry with iTunes, and so has Google with Youtube, Clearly, both these companies are already well versed with how the music licensing industry works.
So how is it that companies such as Spotify and Rdio have shown up from nowhere and are able to offer such comprehensive streaming solutions yet Google and Apple are still having troubles negotiating about rights/etc? Heck even Microsoft has managed to launch Xbox Music (even though its a half arsed product at the moment) ahead of Google/Apple.
So what is the hold up?
