What Should Google do for Google TV at I/O?

Google TV needs a MAJOR revamp to survive.

More content, easier interface, and some hooks into gaming.

1. GTV moves to Android 5.0 from Android 3.2.

2. Move to a pure Android box rather than the weird GTV variant.

Control could be done with an app available across all platforms

Just a simple touchpad with some buttons would be fine. (See Samsung Home Sync for how this might work, except with no Touchwiz)

3. As the Ouya proved, an open console for Android games can work, especially if given official support.

Just put in a Game-Center equivalent and an optional controller accessory.

But Google needs to do something at at THIS I/O. Otherwise it will be too late and other players will seize the market.

What do you think Google should do?
