Use of the word 'like' in video's by almost all the editors

I get that 'like' is a very common word to use in English especially for Americans, however when you watch a thevergecast episode with Joshua and others there are 'likes' in every sentence.

Maybe for me as an European it's more apparant but I can't be the only one who really has a problem listening to the poor way of explaining things by simply jumping to 'like' every time.

I love listening to all the Verge editors talking about tech but some are just impossible to enjoy listening to because of their horrible way of constructing sentences.

Is it really hard to become a but more professional about the use of the word like and to just learn to stop using it?

If warranted i'll count how many 'likes' there are in a single vergecast episode.
