Christopher Nolan had major success reviving the character of Batman in his Dark Knight trilogy, and he's helping director Zack Snyder attempt the same with Superman in this year's Man of Steel. Warner Bros. has just released a new trailer for the film, providing a glimpse of Russell Crowe as Superman's father and Michael Shannon as a furious General Zod — not to mention a cute clip that may indicate how the Man of Steel gets his name. Henry Cavill's Superman looks to definitely be a darker, grittier take on the character than we've seen from past versions — but we'll have to wait until the film opens on June 14th to know if audiences will take to a new Clark Kent the same way they did to a new Bruce Wayne.
