Kobo Aura HD: Best e-ink reader available?

Kobo is releasing the Aura HD this week and it looks like it may be the best e-ink reader available. It has a 6.8-inch front-lit pearl e-ink display at 1440x1080, 265 DPI resolution, compared to a 6-inch, 1024x768, 212 DPI Kindle Paperwhite and 6-inch, 800x600, 167 DPI Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight. The Aura HD also has a 1 GHz processor, 4 GB internal storage plus a 32 GB micro SD card slot and is supposed to have 20% faster page turns than Kindle Paperwhite. The Aura has an extensive level of customization including the ability to manipulate font properties and load your own fonts. It has an interesting, "folded paper" shape on the back that is supposed to make it more comfortable to hold. I have never used a Kobo product but this looks like it beats Kindle Paperwhite and Nook STWG. I like that the Aura HD will allow you to load books purchased from other online bookstores. Having recently broken my Nook, I am looking at a replacement. Anyone have experience with Kobo products? Kobo-aura-hd-2_medium
