Happy DNA Day

Thank you Watson, Crick, Wilkins, and Franklin.

Since it was just in the news, it's also worth sharing Francis Crick's beautifully simple letter to his 12-year old son explaining the discovery before the submission of the Nature paper. In fact, the NLM has a whole archive of Crick's letters and correspondances. As an RNA person, his correspondances with Jacques Monod in the early 1960s (found here) make me go all tingly.
