Paying for data speed vs amount

3G used to be sooooooo fast, but now it isn't. HSPA+ used to be sooooooo fast, now it isnt. LTE will suffer the same fate.

But in reality, advertised 3G speeds are pretty fast for anything you're doing on a mobile device. The network congestion just slows things down for everyone.

To ease that, why not just pay for a data speed similar to how cable companies have it. I'd rather be getting 14Mbps consistently than getting 3Mbps when I'm paying for the advertised 25Mbps

Some pricing: (all unlimited)

5Mbps - $10

10Mbps - $15

so on and so on.. y'all get the point.

Anyone else prefer that?
