Is it gonna be the real deal or another "wait until the next update" thing.
I was an early adopter of WP, sort of, been with WP as soon as Nokia jumped ships. This idea that Microsoft will give me a super cohesive OS that integrates Skype, Skydrive, Office, Bing and other Microsoft goodies on a single device was very tempting. Also, the similar design approach they took with W8 confirmed the deep integration that W8 and WP8 were going to have, not to forget the Nokia goodies like Music, Nokia Map and Camera apps.
Nokia has satisfied me, Lumia 800 and then 920. 800 was the best designed phones I ever used. Being a first generation device it had it's flaws (audio was horrendous, app support was abysmal). Lumia 920 was a big step up; people do complain about the weight and size but I am fine with that, I kinda like the mass to it. App situation is still not very good but not that bad either.
Now to the main question: Has Microsoft satisfied me? Answer is NO. They have been very slow with their upgrading process. Microsoft the owner and originator of WP should spearhead the development given the money and resources it has and how far ahead the competition is but no, they are working with their turtle walk as they always do. I feel Nokia is more engaged in WP development than Microsoft while it should be the other way round. Skype in WP sucks balls, Skydrive lacks functionality- no file management, Bing is a weak product. The whole OS hasn't come together as Microsoft made us dream of.
No Blue is on works, both for W8 and WP8. Here's my question, is it gonna be "THE" real update we've been waiting for that brings all the fallen pieces together or just another update, like the ones before?
