Android 4.3 or 5.0.. Google, All that I want is...

Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 is a beautiful operating system. In my view Android truly shines on nice budget phones like Nexus 4, with absolutely zero lag while launching apps, buttery smooth interface, amazing notification center, super fast app switching.

It looks like Android has truly reached its maturity with JB 4.2.2 and no one can really complain Android to have all those problems of 2.3!

But, there are few things which I would like to see being improved upon and I think there will not be a need to upgrade my phone again for probably next 5 - 6 years!!

1. Battery Issues: I still do not understand this. My Nexus 4 has a battery of 2100 mAH where as the iPhone 5 has just about 1400 mAH. Obviously, I am supposed to get larger battery life than my friends who carry an iPhone.

But this is not the case. I am not a Kernal expert but I feel there are inherent problems inside the Android OS which are killing the battery compared to that of iOS. If someone can shed some light on this, it would be great. But in general I would like to see Operating system managing the battery better.

2. Phone getting hot: I don't know if this an OS issue but its one common issue across many Android devices compared to phones like Nokia N8, Windows Phones etc.

3. Offline Maps & Navigation: Not every corner of earth is blessed with blazing fast speeds of 4G network. There are still lot of instances where we would like Offline Mapping technology to work and I would love to see Google embracing that technology.

That's it!! Whatever may be the next version of Android is called, I would love to see these 2 issues being fixed and then there would be never be a need to upgrade the phone as frequently as we do now.
