Xbox One, the good bits
Now that everyone had their fair share of bad things to say about the Xbox One, how about we shed some positive light and bring together the good news.
Everyone seems to pick on the bad stuff without first fact checking so read this article between wired and Phil Harrison first to clear things up regarding used games: http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2013/05/phil-harrison-xbox-one/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Gamelife+%28Wired%3A+Blog+-+Game%7CLife%29
Harrison at the end of the article says: "The final piece is the Snap Mode part of the operating system. It’s a Windows 8 kernel, so that expands the ecosystem of developers who can write for Xbox One by an order of magnitude. It will be a huge ecosystem of developers, and that’s great for the consumer and the player that there will be even more developers who are tooled and capable of creating experiences for our system."
Does anyone else spot that the Xbox One will have an app ecosystem?
