FiOS and YouTube

I have Verizon FiOS and for the most part, I love it. However, I noticed that once the afternoon/evening hit, watching YouTube is an impossible task. I can stream movies on my Apple TV in 1080p, but watching a 2 minute YouTube video in the lowest possible res cannot be done. I just did a speed test and I'm getting 59mbps down, 35mbps up and I just tried watching today's 90 Seconds on The Verge in 144p, impossible. Tried it on my Apple TV, can't. Tried watching other videos, no shot. However, I can watch 90 seconds via The Verge video hub and it works fine, streaming in HD. It's a sad day when Flash on Chrome works better than YouTube.

I sent a tweet to their support Twitter and got this message back: "Unfortunately, Ronald, we don't have control over our interface connections with YouTube. The routers/servers they have dedicated to our traffic may be reaching capacity. We apologize for this inconvenience, but suggest you bring this to the attention of YouTube. Thanks!"

Is this a problem with FiOS or with YouTube? Are you having these problems as well?
