iOS 7 scrapped and restarted?
On the most recent 9to5Mac podcast Mark Gurman says he heard that after the org change last year Apple scrapped whatever iOS 7 work was being done and started with a completely fresh perspective. That might explain some of the internal delay rumors but I can't believe everything was scrapped. My guess is Apple wants to make sure iOS 7 is cohesive and doesn't look like a mismatch of Forstall and Ive.
Also John Gruber reported on his podcast that employees with carry privileges are required to have a filter over their screen and they've never had to do that before. That surprised me as I figured the first iPhone would've been locked down like that. But maybe there were more restrictions on who had carry privileges.
