BLE & OpenGL ES 3.0 to be announced at I/O

Some HTC developers have scheduled a developer meetup in SF during "their" busy I/O schedule to discuss the newly announched (read: yet to be announched) BLE and OpenGL ES 3.0 features that will be announced an I/O.

I'm no dev but from what I understand BLE is already present in some Samsung devices but not officially supported in Android yet. The major advantages of it are, obviously, lower power consumption when using bluetooth for things like streaming music.

OpenGL ES 3.0 is the next version of the graphics rendering API (?) used at the low OS level. It mostly just brings some improvements like faster graphics rendering and more detailed textures in games.
